Quanta Computer Invests in Rehm's Productivity-boosting Convection Reflow System |

Quanta Computer, the world's largest notebook computer ODM Company, has confirmed plans to install a large quantity of VisionXS 944 convection reflow soldering machines from Rehm Thermal Systems. The extensive order will enable Quanta to drive high-productivity operations at its state-of-the-art production facility in Chongqing, China.
Quanta is the latest high profile manufacturer to recognise the VisionXS 944's ability to drive successful high volume consumer applications processing. Proven to deliver repeatable soldering results even under the extreme thermal load of high volume applications, the Rehm system overcomes the limitations of conventional reflow ovens to deliver the reliable thermal management required by high-speed, high volume manufacturing environments. In addition to managing high thermal loads, the VisionXS 944 also features Rehm's integrated residue management technology featuring Pyrolysis in the heat zones. The virtually maintenance-free Pyrolysis reduces the amount of condensable waste and undesirable dripping within the process chamber and therefore, effectively manages the extensive organic residues that are the by-product of high-speed and high volume reflow.
