Key focus on Fluorosint® HPV featuring exceptional wear and bearing performance, especially developed for highly demanding Oil & Gas applications

At the centre of the exhibit is Fluorosint HPV, which was especially developed to meet the requirements of the demanding offshore sector. Featuring both exceptional wear resistance and bearing performance, Fluorosint HPV is the material of choice for high pressure and velocity applications, especially valve bushings and seals. Other applications on the Quadrant stand will include Torlon® PAI which uniquely combines high temperature tolerance up to 250°C, excellent wear and frictional performance, exceptional strength, chemical resistance, stiffness, and dimensional stability.
Quadrant's broad portfolio of high performance plastics are in use around the world in a variety of oil & gas field applications such as: pipe in pipe spacers; bend restrictors for flexible pipes and cables; cable sheaves; track-plates or valve seats and labyrinth seals for compressors. Visitors to Offshore Europe 2009 will be able to see a selection of these applications at Quadrant's stand 1375.
