Purafil Receives 2013 Editor's Choice Award from Pollution Engineering

DORAVILLE, GA – Purafil's OnGuard Loop Sensors named as category winner for Pollution Engineering magazine's Editor's Choice Awards. Purafil is proud to receive this award and recognition for our efforts in the industry.

Pollution Engineering presents new products and services from the industry, which they exhibit in the annual Editor's Choice Awards. They compile this list by evaluating reviews, submissions and reader responses to bring their audience descriptions of new products that will help control pollution. Many products fit into overlapping categories, such as Purafil's OnGuard Loop Sensors which has applications within numerous markets. Featured in the July issue, our submission is below.

The OnGuard Loop Sensor (OGLS) from Purafil utilizes highly sensitive quartz crystal microbalance sensors to provide accurate and reliable real-time corrosion monitoring. Ideal for control rooms, motor control centers, VFDs or other areas where corrosion is of concern, the OGLS allows for action to be taken before problems develop — increasing the reliability of electronic and electrical instrumentation, and reducing the cost of maintenance repairs. The standard features include the following: service life of 4,000 angstroms; technology specific to airborne corrosion; accurate within plus or minus zero to 1 percent of full span; corresponds to ISA Standard S71.04-1985; and 4-20 mA output signals.
