(Denver) - The Truth About Pharmaceuticals & Personal Care Products in Your Water, a new booklet by American Water Works Association, is designed to be the ideal guide for public information professionals, customer service reps, and concerned customers with questions about drinking water.

Author Jack Hoffbuhr offers answers to the following questions:

About the Author:

Jack Hoffbuhr, PE, DEE, was executive director of AWWA from 1996-2007, and worked for the US Public Health and the US Environmental Protection Agency. He spent two years with the Peace Corps, and received graduate degrees in both Sanitary Engineering and Public Administration. Hoffbuhr is a Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and a Board Certified Professional Engineer (Diplomate) in Water/Wastewater by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.
