June 30, 2009- STI's innovative wire guard helps protect fluorescent lights where abuse is severe. Called the Fluorescent Light Damage Stopper, it incorporates a patented web-like design that simulates a spider's web for added strength. The guard takes hard knocks in stride and is recommended for areas where abuse to fluorescent lights is severe.
This corrosion resistant, coated wire protector helps avoid frequent replacement of bulbs due to vandalism or accidental damage. Two guards adjust to accommodate various fluorescent dual ballast lighting fixtures. The largest, STI-9881, measures 98.25 inches fully extended and can be retracted to 74.75. The smaller version, STI-9880, measures 62.75 inches and retracts to 51.
This guard helps assure continued illumination of key areas, reduces costly bulb replacement and has long-term durability. The unit is provided with screws and anchors making it easy to install and remove for routine service.
