Process Expo 2011 Releases Spanish Language Educational Program

McLean, VA - The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) announced today that it has released the Spanish-language portion of the educational program for PROCESS EXPO 2011. The Seminario de Innovacciones is an eight hour program devoted to attendees from Latin America and/or other Spanish speaking attendees and is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 31, 2011, at McCormick Place in Chicago. This program can be found at www.myprocessexpo.com/attendees/education/seminario-de-innovaciones.

"Our exhibitors told us from the very beginning that it was important to create a program that addressed the needs of their customers," said Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association and President of Weber Inc. "Considering that the largest group by far of international attendees at PROCESS EXPO come from Latin America, we decided to build a program that not only addresses issues of concern to them but does so in their own language. While many of our guests do speak some level of English, we feel that holding these sessions in Spanish make them even more inviting to the customer."

"We are very excited about the support we have received from our partner associations in Latin America that have signed on to sponsor this program," said David Seckman, President & CEO of FPSA. "These organizations represent the largest food processing companies in the region and recognize the need to keep up with technological advances in the industry. In fact, this is one of the primary reasons that these food processors attend PROCESS EXPO in the first place. By holding these sessions in Spanish, we are confident that attendees will derive even more value from attending the show."

All educational sessions at PROCESS EXPO 2011, including those in the Seminario de Innovacciones are free of charge for all registered attendees of the show, though participants are asked to sign up for the individual sessions of interest during registration.
