Procera Networks Announces Appointment of Lars Cavi as Vice President of Sales, EMEA

VARBERG, SWEDEN - Procera® Networks, Inc. (AMEX: PKT), a pioneering developer of telco-class network traffic and service management infrastructure equipment, today announced that Lars Cavi has joined the company's management team as vice president of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He will lead the company's sales efforts in bringing advanced deep packet inspection technology to telcos, cable operators, ISPs, higher-education institutions and other organizations throughout the region.
Mr. Cavi is a fifteen-year industry veteran with extensive sales management experience in large Tier 1 and 2 accounts both directly and through channel partners. He has developed executive relationships with hundreds of service providers and business channels in the EMEA region. Most recently, he was vice president and managing director for EMEA for Turin Networks, a provider of metro transport and switching solutions for wireline, wireless, MSO and private networks. Previously, he held management positions at Flexion, Advanced Fibre Communications (now Tellabs), New World Telephone of Hong Kong, GPT (now Marconi/Ericsson), and Siemens AG. He holds a master's degree in engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a B.S. degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen.

The modular software design includes Surveillance (standard in all PacketLogic systems), Filtering, Traffic Shaping, Statistics and Web Statistics options.
