Principal Real Estate Investors Enhances Sales Team
Steve Walker Appointed as Managing Director of Sales and Marketing
DES MOINES, Iowa-- Principal Real Estate Investors, the real estate investment group of Principal Global Investors, today named Steve Walker as managing director of sales and marketing. Walker will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the sales and marketing strategy for the real estate management business. Principal Global Investors is a diversified asset management organization with world-class investment expertise in fixed income, equities and real estate.

Walker will work closely with Patrick Mc Nelis, executive director, institutional advisory services of Principal Global Investors, on an integrated approach with the broader global marketing organization of Principal Global Investors. Walker comes to Principal Real Estate Investors from INVESCO, where he was responsible for client service and marketing of INVESCO real estate based products for the eastern half of the U.S. and Europe. Walker has 35 years of real estate experience, including property management, leasing and asset management, as well as marketing and portfolio management. Walker earned a B.S. in business administration from Mankato University and holds NASD Series 6 and 7 designations.
