CHICOPEE, MASS. U.S.A. (December 22, 2006) - PRIMA North America, Inc. today announced that Mr. Ted Oviatt and Mr. Robert Lauer have joined the PRIMA sales organization as Regional Sales Managers for the company's 2-D / 3-D Laser Cutting Systems. The appointments are a response to steady growth and demand for PRIMA laser systems in North America.
Mr. Oviatt will be dedicated to working closely with customers and distributors for the states of North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. He is well qualified for the position and brings proven market development and regional sales experience within the machine tool industry. Mr. Oviatt is a respected and experienced professional in the industrial laser market. He has served the Mid-west U.S. region in the Fabrication Industry for more than 28 years and has been selling laser systems in this region for 18 years.
Mr. Lauer will service customers and distributors for the states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois and West Virginia. He comes to PRIMA with over 21 years of regional sales experience in the industrial laser market. Previously, Mr. Lauer held various positions where he successfully sold laser systems and other fabricating equipment directly to customers through out the U.S. His established history of increasing sales and market share will be a valuable asset to PRIMA North America.
