Practical Instrument Electronics(PIE) is truly pleased to announce that Brian Pratt has joined the PIE family as our Sales & Marketing Manager for both domestic and international sales. With 25 years of extensive sales experience relating to the process control and instrumentation industry, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge in the application of the calibration test equipment we manufacture.
Brian began his instrumentation career in 1981 with The Foxboro Company as a Sales Engineer selling to industrial and municipal customers throughout New York State. He was responsible for sales of process controls and instrumentation measuring hardware as well as support services and product training.
In 1990, Brian left The Foxboro Company to help form Process Control Specialists Co. (PCSC). As co-owner of PCSC, Brian helped develop the company into a leading provider of instrumentation services and on-site skill development training for process manufacturers throughout the Northeast United States. Companies served included Alcan, DuPont, General Mills, International Paper, Kraft Foods, Occidental Chemical, Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals and many others.
Since 2001, Brian has been providing sales and marketing services to numerous small to medium size businesses as an independent consultant.
