Carlsbad, CA - PresenterNet, provider of online interactive Web presentation services, today released a new report identifying Macintosh and Firefox users as the company's highest growth populations in both audience members and presenters.

Comparing survey responses with those of July 2005, the January 2006 report indicates a significant gain for Macintosh, compared to a slower growth rate for Windows. PresenterNet's Firefox base has also gained at an accelerated rate, compared to that of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

PresenterNet CEO Doug Wolfgram explained the increase as the result of a surge in Macintosh customer acceptance and word-of-mouth recommendations. "All feedback indicates that Macintosh presenters choose PresenterNet because it's easy to use. There are no downloads required, and users of any platform can be confident that their Mac audiences can enter any PresenterNet conference effortlessly."

Firefox is also gaining rapidly in the PresenterNet base, growing faster than any other browser population. Safari and Opera browser PresenterNet Reports Sharp Increase in Macintosh and Firefox Use growth has remained steady. As with the Macintosh platform, Wolfgram attributes the faster growth of browsers other than Microsoft IE to ease-of-use without need for downloads or changes in user systems. "Our investment in Ajax technology has enabled us to maintain full compatibility of all browsers and platforms. Market research has continually driven us to apply technology to ensure seamless compatibility as a major goal for meeting customer needs", he explained.

The company developed this new data through user surveys, analysis of system logs, and interviews of key corporate customers; and has published it in a report entitled "Survey of Web Conferencing User Requirements and Preferences", available on the website at http://presenternet.com/html/reports/user-survey-report06.php .
