Press release date: December 29, 2006

The Signos M family of Metal Halide track foundations from the Prescolite division of Hubbell Lighting marks the introduction of a new balance between appearance and performance for the specification community.

As part of the Prescolite's ArchiTrak family of architectural track lighting, Signos M offers designers an unparalleled range of aesthetic and performance flexibility for the retail, hospitality, office, and educational markets. Designers are free to select from six Metal Halide lamp types; PAR20, PAR30L, PAR38, ED17, T6, and T4 and a modular variety of optional aesthetic shades and optical reflectors that can be combined to meet the needs of the application and the taste of the designer. This flexibility is coupled with all the benefits of Metal Halide lamp technology including long life, low maintenance, small size, high efficacy, and excellent color.

Designed to coordinate with the appearance of the popular ArchiTrak Signos T family of MR16 track heads, Signos M features sleek contemporary design and all die-cast aluminum construction for premium fit and finish. All Signos M models are available in three finishes, Zet (metallic silver), black, and white.

Signos M also represents the creative follow-up to the PAR and ED17 Metal Halide gimbal and ED17 single and double wall washer track heads introduced by Prescolite in August.

o Modular Configuration o Modular Optical Elements: 10° Spot, 25°Medium, and 40° Flood distribution options for ED17, T6, and T4 lamps o Modular Aesthetic Elements: Style to taste with optional solid and perforated shade elements o 180° horizontal and vertical aiming adjustment without tools o Die cast aluminum construction for premium fit and finish o Spring-loaded housing lock assures proper engagement of head to track

Prescolite is a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance point source lighting products including downlights, track lighting, and surface mounted lighting.
