Premier Farnell and Sensonor Technologies Sign Global Franchise Agreement

16 December 2010, London - Premier Farnell plc (LSE:pfl) the leading multi-channel, high service distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals globally, today announced a global franchise agreement with Sensonor Technologies, a global leader in high precision MEMS technology.
The global agreement adds Sensonor Technologies' newest sensors, based on MEMS technology and used for high precision applications, to Premier Farnell's portfolio. This includes pressure sensors, accelerometers and gyro sensors including pressure sensor bare dies for application with limited space and OEM designs.
The new sensor product line is available through Premier Farnell's business units in North America (Newark and element14), Europe (Farnell), ANZ, ASEAN, India, China and Hong Kong (element14). The addition of these products is ideal for a wide and diverse range of applications and industries.
Through Premier Farnell's global distribution network and element14, the company's innovative information portal and eCommunity for electronic design engineers, Sensonor Technologies' products can be ordered in bulk and are available for next-day delivery. Local language websites and regional offices ensure that Premier Farnell's customers receive excellent sales and technical support on all its product lines.
