The new double solenoid or double coil valves allow the customer to utilize the control voltage signal to control both positions of the Pneumatically Actuated Valve and hold the position. This only requires an intermittent signal rather than maintaining a constant to hold the valve in the current position. This reduces the amount of energy normally consumed in applications where the current is constantly on. These valves are available with standard coils in all commonly used voltages, US standard explosion proof, and ATEX explosion proof models.
