AUSTIN, Texas- Pragma Systems (http://www.pragmasys.com/), a leading provider of enterprise-class remote access and security software for servers and mobile devices, announced that the United Stated Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) is utilizing the FIPS Certified Pragma FortressSSH Server (http://www.pragmasys.com/FortressSSHServer.asp) for secure file transfer (SFTP). The application provides a reliable way to utilize secure system administration, application delivery and secure encrypted file transfer throughout computing environments while maintaining the US Government requirements for security and cryptographic standards.
Pragma FortressSSH is the only secure shell server and client available today that holds its own FIPS 140-2 certificate (Certificate # 1500) for Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008/R2 as issued by NIST's CMVP (Cryptographic Module Validation Program - http://csrc.nist.gov/groups/STM/cmvp/index.html#04) ensuring data security encryption compliance. Pragma is also listed on the Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Capabilities Approved Products List (UC APL - http://www.disa.mil/ucco/) and passed the U.S. Army Technology Integration Center's (TIC) testing protocols.
