Power Flash - Ericsson Power Modules at Electronics 2012

Electronica 2012, November 13-16

Munich, Germany

Ericsson Power Modules

Hall 04, Booth 260, Stand MEV

Digital control is becoming an increasingly important tool for power system architects to meet energy reduction targets across multiple industries, and particularly in compute-intensive Datacom and Telecom applications.

Over many years, Ericsson has introduced 3E Advanced Bus Converters and 3E Point-of-Load voltage regulators that feature truly leading-edge digital power technologies. At Electronica 2012, Ericsson will be presenting its latest developments in digitally controlled energy-optimization technologies.

At the event we will showcase the latest 3E Tool Box, which reduces both learning time and time-to-market and enables engineers to quickly and easily optimize energy delivered to core components in board-level designs. In addition, also being demonstrated, will be the new Ericsson DC/DC Digital Power Designer, which is an advanced software toolkit that makes it easy for board-power designers to take advantage of all the functionality integrated in Ericsson's digital power products.

Ericsson Power Modules Energy Efficiency expert, Patrick Le Fèvre, will also be on hand to discuss the future of energy optimization in advanced power system designs via the use of the "Dynamic Bus Voltage" architecture; and the implementation of this technology via the new BMR456 and BMR457 Advanced Bus Converters, both of which implement the leading-edge Ericsson DC/DC Energy Optimizer firmware.

We look forward to seeing you at Electronica 2012!
