The Grant Instruments Squirrel SQ20xx family of data loggers provides the ideal solution for portable data collection. The product line includes 8 models with 4 to 32 universal input channels that can measure a wide range of parameters including thermocouples, resistance, voltage and current. All of the SQ20xx data loggers are battery powered and utilize 24 bit A/D converters to provide precise measurements. These units also come in different versions with a variety of communications options including serial, USB, Ethernet and 802.11b wireless Ethernet allowing connection to almost any computer or network. The Squirrel data loggers also feature counter and digital inputs and alarm outputs. The Squirrel SQ20xx family has 8 different models:
SQ2010 - 4 differential/8 single ended inputs with serial and USB ports
SQ2020-1F8 - 8 differential/16 single ended inputs with serial and USB ports
SQ2020-2F8 - 8 differential/16 single ended inputs, dual A/D converters with serial and Ethernet ports
SQ2020-2F8-WiFi - 8 differential/16 single ended inputs, dual A/D converters with serial ports and wireless Ethernet
SQ2040-2F16 - 16 differential/32 single ended inputs, dual A/D converters with serial and Ethernet ports
SQ2040-2F16-WiFi - 16 differential/32 single ended inputs, dual A/D converters with serial ports and wireless Ethernet
SQ2040-4F16 - 16 differential/32 single ended inputs, quad A/D converters with serial and Ethernet ports

All Squirrel data loggers are supplied with SquirrelView software. This easy to use package allows the logger to be configured for specific input types and sample rates, real-time data display and downloading and exporting of recorded data. An enhanced version, SquirrelView Plus provides additional analysis and reporting applications and automated data downloading. SquirrelView.Net is a web based application that can collect and display data from multiple loggers using a standard web browser.
Squirrel 20xx data loggers are used in many different types of applications such as manufacturing, research, building monitoring, automotive testing, utility monitoring, civil engineering and environmental monitoring. Typical parameters that are measured include temperature, humidity, DC voltage, 4-20 mA current loops, pressure, wind speed, solar power and many more.
