Portable Chillers Provide Optimum Temperature Control for Wine Fermentation and Cold Stabilization

Niles, IL – A family of highly reliable, easy-to-operate Chillers that keep the wine fermentation process stable and optimize tartrate precipitation during cold stabilization is available from PolyScience. With sufficient cooling capacity for both small and large volumes of wine, 6000 Series Chillers easily maintain the fermentation process at the optimal temperature (65°F/18°C to 77°F/25°C, depending on the wine) while also providing the ability to quickly achieve and hold a cold stabilization temperature of 27°F/-2.7°C.

6000 Series Chillers deliver up to 2900 watts of heat removal at 68°F/20°C, have working temperature range of 14° to 104°F/-10° to +40°C, and maintain set point temperature with ±0.2°F/0.1°C stability. Other standard features include both temperature and pressure/flow rate displays, user-adjustable temperature, pressure, and flow rate alarms, and a choice of pump types and compressor sizes.

A variety of options, such as external temperature tracking, remote control and communication, and an extended cooling/heating range that provide even greater operational control and convenience are also available.
