Press release date: March 5, 2007

ORLANDO, Fla. and SANTA CRUZ, Calif., March 5: Plantronics, Inc. (NYSE:PLT) today put the pedal to the metal with the launch of the Sound Coach, a 44-foot long mobile marketing unit designed to educate and train Plantronics' valued channel partners and end-users on the benefits of wireless headset solutions in the office, at home and on the go.

"The Sound Coach is a unique educational resource designed to provide a myriad of benefits to our channel partners all over the U.S.," said Kelly Myers-Santos, director of Business Solutions Channel Marketing at Plantronics. "It provides a truly immersive experience, where partners receive highly interactive, hands-on training and demonstrations with Plantronics' latest products. As part of Plantronics' Connect Partner Program, the Sound Coach will travel across the U.S. and make stops at major industry events, channel partner sales offices and stores of select retail and carrier partners. Visitors of the Sound Coach take part in unique "Sound Innovation Experience" tours, comprised of several interactive modules that illustrate how Plantronics headsets can enhance communication and entertainment experiences. The Plantronics "Sound Innovation Experience" tour includes:

o self-guided iPod audio tours that highlight Plantronics' legacy of sound innovation, headset technology fundamentals and emerging trends driving headset usage for both businesses and consumers, o product demonstrations that feature Plantronics' newest corded and wireless solutions for use with office, home and mobile phones, and for popular applications such as, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Unified Communications and PC and console gaming, o an immersive presentation focused on current headset market opportunities with tips on identifying the ideal Plantronics headset, and o a brief Q&A session with a Plantronics specialist to receive a certificate of completion confirming their education on Plantronics' award-winning offerings.

Launched in November 2005, Plantronics Connect is a comprehensive partner program designed to energize channel partners' business with training, certifications, sales, marketing, and technical support tailored to their specific needs. Connect provides partners with the framework needed to expand product knowledge, enhance technical capabilities, energize relationships with existing customers, and grow their overall customer base. Today, more than 3,000 partners are members of the Connect program.

The Plantronics Sound Coach's first stop is at the VoiceCon Spring tradeshow, March 5-8, 2007 in Orlando, Florida. The Sound Coach will then visit numerous cities in Florida before driving across the U.S. For more information about The Plantronics Sound Coach, please e-mail: soundcoach@plantronics.com.
