Madison, WIS., (February 12, 2007) - Placon Corporation announces new HomeFresh pineapple round polypropylene deli container as an extension to its current HomeFresh deli product line.
HomeFresh pineapple deli containers feature superior clarity and lid fit. The 28-ounce pineapple container has a cut fruit base and straighter side walls to hold a whole cored pineapple. The pineapple container joins the HomeFresh deli line that has 5 standard base sizes clear or white including an 8, 12, 16, 24, and 32-ounce capacity. The tight sealing polypropylene lid ensures food stays fresh and secure. For added durability, Placon offers a quick seal polyethylene lid.
Placon Corporation's vast expertise and knowledge in thermoforming design and manufacturing has resulted in a clearly better deli container that delivers at the deli counter.
"In designing this product, we felt it was better to create a package that enhanced the appearance of the food," according to Bob Saric, National Sales Manager. "Our containers are functional, yet offer superior clarity and a tight lid fit with our polypropylene lid."
Placon's in-house print department offers customers the ability to print up to eight-colors on cups and six-colors on lids.
In addition to HomeFresh deli and rotisserie chicken, Placon also has APET food-service products: Crystal Seal" clear hinged deli containers and two-piece trays and lid.
