Philadelphia Mixing Solutions Expands Service All Mixers (SAM) Program with Additional Regional Managers

PALMYRA, Pa., May 5, 2009 - Philadelphia Mixing Solutions, the world leader in process mixing technology, announces that it has added two regional sales managers to its growing Service All Mixers (SAM) program. Darrell Thatcher has joined the team as regional manager for the Pacific Northwest U.S. and western British Columbia, and John Dillon will serve as regional sales manager for North and South Carolina.

Thatcher, who joined the company in February '09, has held previous account and branch management positions with Kaman Industrial Technologies (Eugene, OR,) and Motion Industries (Albany, OR,) respectively. He's a resident of Coburg, OR.

Dillon, who joined the company in March, has held sales and management positions with Emory Wilson Ind. (Greensboro,) Southern Pump & Tank (Charlotte,) and BASF. He was named Emory Wilson's 2006 Salesman of the Year.

"Although capital budgets aren't what they used to be, plant operators are still tasked with delivering peak performance and maximum output while lowering energy and operations costs," said John Reilly, general manager of the SAM division for Philadelphia Mixing Solutions. "Our SAM program helps operators do more with less by leveraging their investment in existing equipment. At the same time, we use our scientific and mechanical expertise to solve their most complex mixing challenges and increase the overall financial health of the plant."

Philadelphia Mixing Solutions SAM program - the industry's only service offering to allow plant operators work with a single company for scheduled mixer upkeep, planned upgrades, or emergency repairs, regardless of who manufactured the mixer - is experiencing rapid growth as plant engineers and operators seek to increase the lifespan of mixer and other capital investments. It offers three-year warranties for all repair work, as well as true root-cause failure analysis - acting as the "CSI" of mixer performance - which identifies mechanical failures in the context of process conditions to help customers eliminate downtime and promote higher levels of performance and repeatability.
