Silverberg brings 22 years outside sales experience in Material Handling; solid background in industrial and retail segments, and with vertical lift systems.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin (August 23, 2010) - Pflow Industries, Inc. has hired Sandy Silverberg as its new western regional sales manager with responsibility for the sale of Pflow vertical lift systems in Wisconsin and all states west of the Mississippi River, excluding Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Silverberg brings 22 years of outside sales experience from a leading material handling dealer in the Midwest. At the dealer Silverberg worked extensively in both the industrial and retail sectors selling the full range of material handling products and systems including vertical lifts, also known as vertical reciprocating conveyors (VRCs). Silverberg spent his first nine years covering industrial accounts, and then in 1996 he began working in the retail sector setting up the parts and service infrastructure for all Harley-Davidson dealerships nationwide, and a variety of other power sports and automotive dealers.
"With my background I believe l will be able to provide immediate support to the Pflow dealers in my region," said Silverberg. "I know and understand their business and will work hard to build their respective shares of the vertical lift market."
Though Silverberg knows well the VRC product class, the installations he managed previously were mostly of competitive brands. "Having been a distributor for different brands of vertical lifts in the past, I am amazed by the depth of talent working within Pflow's organization," added Silverberg. "From engineering to customer service it is apparent that Pflow has superior technical resources and makes customer service their top priority."
