Press release date: May 23, 2007

Toms River, NJ (May 23, 2007) - Perma Pure will be showing its new Baldwin(TM)-Series line of probes and thermo-electric coolers for continuous emissions monitoring at the 100th annual Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) Conference and Exhibition, June 26-28 at the David Lawrence Convention Center (Pittsburgh, PA). These systems, which prepare gas samples for analysis, will join the company's latest sample preparation technology for gas analyzers and continuous emissions monitoring systems at booth 906.

Baldwin Direct Extractive Filter Probes extract sample gas and remove particulate while preventing condensation prior to the introduction of a gas sample into a heated sample line. A Sure-Lock filter assembly ensures proper probe insertion and reduces the possibility of leaks. Baldwin thermo-electric coolers are specifically designed for high flow rates, high ambient temperatures, and high water volume applications. The Classic Cool, eCool with remote monitoring and control capabilities, and SO3 Aerosol Removal System models provide dependable water removal with minimal maintenance.

For removal of acid mists, coalescent liquids, water and particulates without altering the concentrations of analyte gases, Perma Pure offers the GASS-2040 system. An integral stack mounting capability improves accuracy and eliminates costly heated sample lines. The unit connects directly to the probe and dries the sample completely before transporting it to the ground.

In addition to the Baldwin-Series and GASS-2040, the company offers a range of sampling systems, gas dryers, filters, and ammonia scrubbers that help to maintain sample integrity and prevent contaminants or corrosive elements from damaging analytical equipment. Perma Pure LLC's full line of gas conditioning products includes: dryers, humidifiers, filters, coalescers, specialty scrubbers and complete sampling systems for use in industrial and scientific applications. The company is the sole manufacturer of Nafion tubing under license from the polymer manufacturer, DuPont. Part of the Halma global technology group, Perma Pure is based in Toms River, New Jersey, with representatives and distributors around the world.
