Munich, Germany - June 18, 2007 - PerkinElmer, a global technology leader in digital imaging, specialty lighting and optical detection technologies, will showcase its Photonics Flash, LED, and Sensor Solutions for a host of laser applications including solid-state laser pumping and detection; medical and aesthetic Intense Pulsed Light; and automotive, laser range-finding and defense applications at LASER 2007 on June 18-21 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany.
Highlighted products and technology applications at LASER include:
AesthetiPakTM Cartridge - the world's first high energy water-cooled cartridge for use in Intense Pulsed Light treatment systems. Design integrates flashlamp, optical reflector, filter and electrical assembly into a watertight, easy to handle, disposable cartridge and reduces OEM costs, service needs, and development time. The new AesthetiPak Cartridge can be utilized in a broad range of light-based aesthetic and medical procedures including skin rejuvenation, dermatological treatments, and hair removal.
ACULED® DYOTM and ACULED® VHLTM - Custom and Standard High-Power, High-Brightness LED Solutions provide customers with the flexibility to "design-your-own" 4-chip LED configuration based on our next-generation ACULED platform.
EPI-Cavity Family of Pulsed Lasers - High performance sensor solutions such as the EPI-Cavity family of pulsed lasers deliver high output power in a small emitting area. Double and triple EPI-Cavity lasers are well-suited for integration into a variety of consumer and industrial range finding applications, including blind spot detectors, traffic flow monitors, traffic speed guns, adaptive cruise control systems, ceilometers and more.
