People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community. ANSI is pleased to welcome Li Aixian of the China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS) as an ANSI International Guest Researcher. Ms. Li will be working at ANSI through the end of October 2009 in the Institute's Washington, D.C., office.
Ms. Li is currently director of the CNIS Sub-Institute of Resource and Environmental Standardization. In this role she leads many of China's technical activities in the energy field, including an energy conservation product certification system and a labeling system for energy information.
During her stay in the U.S., Ms. Li will be assisting ANSI with additional content for the StandardsPortal, and will also be meeting with other U.S. organizations as part of her research on energy standardization topics.
