People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
The Window & Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA), a member and accredited standards developer of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has appointed John R. Stoiber as its new president. Mr. Stoiber will lead WDMA's efforts to expand its reach and provide high-quality services to its members and the industry.
Besides having founded and served as the CEO of six companies, he spent seven years with Johnson Controls in product and sales engineering roles with a focus on building and construction solutions related to energy efficiency, life safety, security and fire protection.
Mr. Stoiber holds two BS degrees and a master's degree in engineering from Marquette University. He also holds a master's degree in strategy and finance from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management.
