People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has appointed Ross Allbritton as marketing representative for the Northwest Area. Working with AISC members and the AISC Steel Solutions Center, Mr. Allbritton will expand the association's outreach to potential users of structural steel throughout Washington and Oregon by communicating the benefits of steel as a sustainable building material.
An experienced professional marketer, Mr. Allbritton joins AISC from Buyken Metal Products in Kent, WA, where he served as sales and marketing manager. A former member of the board of the Pacific Northwest Steel Fabricators Association, he was also director of business development for Jesse Engineering Company.
Mr. Allbritton studied speech communications and marketing at Portland State University.
