People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
Marisa Peacock has rejoined the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a senior manager on May 4, 2009. In this role, she will be working with the Institute's senior leadership on a number of emerging issues.

Marisa brings with her a wealth of knowledge on ANSI's programs and an in-depth understanding of the voluntary standards and conformity assessment system after having spent eight years at ANSI as a program manager in the international secretariats department, working with committees of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Joint Technical Committee (JTC) 1.

Most recently, Marisa worked as a project manager at the Health Plan of New York (HIP). She holds a BA in Communications from Rutgers University and an MA in International Relations from George Washington University, as well as a Pastry Arts Diploma from the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC.
