ANSI-accredited standards developer and organizational member the Portland Cement Association (PCA) has named Edward J. Sullivan to the position of group vice president. As part of his new duties, which he will carry out in conjunction with the responsibilities associated with his role as PCA’s chief economist, Mr. Sullivan will oversee the association’s market development, research and technical services, and communications departments.



Prior to joining PCA in 2002, Mr. Sullivan was a partner at Wexford Management Consultants, where he provided economic and market analysis for a number of large corporations. He has also worked as a senior intelligence officer for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and as an economist in the office of the late U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy.



PCA, a nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC, represents cement companies in both the U.S. and Canada. On behalf of its members, PCA carries out market development, public affairs, and educational work, while also supporting research into cement-related subject areas.
