People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
The IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries, an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has appointed Kevin Schuld as director of assembly technology. Bringing more than more than twenty years of electronics industry experience to this position, he will be responsible for working with technical committees on standards development.
Most recently, Mr. Schuld served as senior customer quality engineer at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies in San Diego. In addition, he held various engineering positions at several IPC member companies, including Motorola, Hitachi, Texas Instruments and Honeywell.
Mr. Schuld holds a BS in electrical engineering technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
