Pelican(TM) Products Promotes Two Sales Executives
Torrance, CA. - July 6, 2006 - Pelican(TM) Products, a leading manufacturer of high-impact, watertight equipment Protector(TM) Cases and technically advanced, safety-approved flashlights has named Matt Miller as Director of Sales for the Commercial Division and Scott Jones as the Director of Sales for National Accounts.

Miller brings more than 10 years of sales and management experience and a wealth of industrial/safety industry knowledge to his position. Prior to joining the company full-time, Miller was a Pelican factory sales representative and grew his business an average of 21% for eight years straight. As a Pelican Sales Manager for the last three years he has increased business by an average 30% and was named Pelican Sales Manager of the Year in 2003. Miller holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Management Science from the University of South Florida at Tampa and is currently studying to become a Technical Search Specialist on an Urban Search and Rescue team in Alabama.
Jones brings nearly 30 years of sales and management experience to his new position. Prior to joining Pelican, he served as Vice President at Dive N' Surf, Inc., where he was responsible for the operations and expansion of multiple retail outlets, SCUBA education and the Body Glove brand. Recently, Jones was Pelican's National Sales Manager in the Commercial Division and was named 2005 Salesman of the Year. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from El Camino College in Torrance, California and is a graduate of the N.A.S.D.S. Instructor College.
