Pelican Products CFO Named Los Angeles Business Journal CFO of the Year


Don Jordan Recognized for Outstanding Performance with a Large Private Company

Torrance, Calif. (September 20, 2010) - Pelican Products, Inc., the global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and virtually indestructible cases, announced today that Pelican(TM) Chief Financial Officer Don Jordan was named CFO of the year in the large private company category in the 4th Annual CFO of the Year awards presented by the Los Angeles Business Journal. The award honors Los Angeles area CFO's for their successful corporate leadership as well as their important contributions to the Los Angeles financial community as a whole. This comes on the heels of Pelican Products being named to the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in America for the third year in a row.

Jordan has been with the company since 2005 and has held the CFO position since 2007. He oversees all aspects of financial management and plays a key role in Pelican's strategic operations, business intelligence, business plans, and administrative functions. He has been a key member in the completion of three strategic acquisitions over the last 5 years, including the acquisition of Hardigg Industries in December 2008 which nearly doubled Pelican's revenue. Jordan continues to identify opportunities that increase the financial performance of Pelican as well as help the company expand.
