Peerless Electronics Assembly Team Now Certified to J-STD-001
Peerless Electronics Inc. is pleased to announce that members of their Value Added Assembly Team are now fully certified to MIL-STD-2000A as well as being CIS Certified IPC Specialists, meeting the J-STD-001 soldering certification. The IPC J-STD-001 requirement for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies has emerged as the preeminent authority for electronics assembly manufacturing. This standard describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high quality soldered interconnections. The standard emphasizes process control and sets industry consensus requirements for a broad range of electronic products.
Peerless Electronics, located in Bethpage N.Y., produces a wide range of high quality electronic and electro mechanical assemblies including harnesses, cable assemblies, switch, circuit breaker and relay panel assemblies, heat shrink tubing marking and cutting, as well as hot stamping, engraving and precision indicator light assemblies.
