Paul Burdick Joins Spencer as Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Windsor, CT - The Spencer Turbine Company is pleased to announce that Paul S. Burdick has been named to the newly created position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He will lead the Spencer Sales and Marketing group and will serve as a company officer. This new position reflects the strategic importance of Spencer's sales and marketing efforts as we grow our business in the global arena.

Effective today, Paul will assume responsibility for all sales and marketing operations, both domestically and internationally, including our Manufacturers' Rep networks and Spencer Field Sales offices.

Paul brings more than 29 years of experience to Spencer, mostly concentrated in air and gas handling applications for centrifugal blowers and vacuum systems. He was previously employed by Syracuse, NY-based Hoffman Air and Filtration where, over a 23-year career, he rose through positions of increasing responsibility. As Hoffman's VP, Sales and Marketing, he led the domestic and export sales and marketing efforts of all products, as well as international business development, customer service, production engineering, and other initiatives. He assumed the position of Manager, Centrifugal Sales and Marketing when Hoffman was purchased by Gardner Denver in 2001. He joins Spencer from Brewerton, NY-based Schneider Packaging Equipment Company, where he was Director of Marketing and Sales. Paul holds an MBA as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in speech communication, both from Syracuse University. He also has a strong background in mechanical engineering.

The Spencer Turbine Company, founded in 1892, manufactures and markets centrifugal blowers, gas boosters, central vacuum systems, mobile vacuum units and system related electrical controls and accessories for use in industrial, municipal, institutional and commercial air and gas handling applications worldwide.
