Fort Atkinson, Wis. (June 7, 2007) - Spacesaver Corp. has announced that Patterson Pope, a member of the nationwide Spacesaver Group of distributors, has acquired United Business Systems, making it the sole Spacesaver distributor in Florida. With the acquisition, Patterson Pope also expands its territory into 10 counties of Alabama.
Prior to the acquisition, United Business Systems had served as a Spacesaver distributor in Florida for 35 years. Former owners Kay and Connie Palumbo have retired. According to Patterson Pope President Denny Hammack, well-respected industry veteran Ron Nienhuis will serve as the new general manager for the company's Florida territory. The company will continue to do business as United Business Systems.

Patterson Pope will maintain the Florida offices established by United Business Systems. Those include the headquarters in Orlando, as well as offices in Miami, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Tampa, Palm Beach, and Tallahassee. The new Patterson Pope territory also includes 10 counties in Alabama. Headquartered in Charlotte, Patterson Pope also has offices in Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C.; Charleston and Greenville, S.C.; and Roanoke and Charlottesville, VA.
