Wireless Device Adds New Dimension to Visitor Management.
Atlanta, GA (September 15, 2008) - STOPware Inc. is showcasing their hand-held wireless solution adding to their industry leading visitor management software solutions here at ASIS 2008. Offering speed and efficiency to any facilities' visitor management operations, PassagePoint Mobile allows security personnel to complete the identification, authentication and badging process in a single step, prior to an individual entering the facility.

Based on a Symbol hardware platform running Windows Mobile OS®, the PassagePoint mobile device is ruggedized and can be used in every kind of weather. Integrated with the device are a barcode scanner and a magnetic swipe reader for quick capture of driver licenses and other identification information. Data is then dynamically uploaded via an 802.11 wireless connection to the PassagePoint Server and badges can be printed locally on a Zebra wireless printer, utilizing Bluetooth technology. PassagePoint Mobile is compatible with PassagePoint EDU and PassagePoint Global v10.
