Fairport, N.Y. - May 23, 2006 - Parlec Inc., a worldwide leader in tooling, workholding and presetting solutions, announced today that it will feature its latest driven and static tooling series at the 2006 Eastec show. The Mori Seiki NL 1500-3000 Series will be featured in Parlec's booth #3113, at the show which runs May 23-25, 2006 at the Eastern States Exposition Ground in West Springfield, Mass.

The Mori Seiki NL 1500-3000 Series driven and static tooling line provides a total of 30 product variations with a wide array of functions, allowing for high-accuracy, high-efficiency machining. The series offers a maximum chuck size between 6 inches and 12 inches (depending on model), a maximum turning diameter between 14 inches and 16.5 inches (depending on model) and a maximum turning length between 20.2 inches and 122.9 inches (depending on model). Available in both external and through coolant versions, the NL Series external version can be retrofitted into an internal coolant version.

In addition to the NL Series, Parlec will also be showcasing its full line of driven & static tools for Mazak, Haas, Nakamura, Daewoo, Romi and Citizen. Incorporating the latest design in bearing, seal and gear technology, Parlec's driven tools ensure strength and speed for continued use. The company's static tools are available in both English and metric sizes. Parlec's presetting, toolholding and workholding lines will also be on display at Eastec.
