Parkinson Technologies Promotes Peter Galanis to Operations Manager

Parkinson Technologies Inc. has promoted Peter Galanis to the position of Operations Manager. Galanis, who joined the company in December 2006, had previously served as the company's Quality/EH&S (Environmental, Health and Safety) Manager. In his new position Galanis will report to Peter Termyn, President & CEO of Parkinson Technologies.

"Peter has been instrumental in refining our quality system and in developing and implementing best operating practices, particularly within our manufacturing operations," said Termyn. "In his new role he will utilize his excellent organizational skills and his systematic, team-based approach to guide his departments to achieve new levels of performance."

As Operations Manager, Galanis is responsible for the performance of the company's manufacturing, assembly, panel, purchasing and shipping/receiving departments. "My goals are to satisfy our customers by meeting our delivery requirements, by ensuring that we ship product on time and on budget," Galanis said. "We have high standards at Parkinson and always strive to work as efficiently and effectively as possible as an organization. I have excellent staff in place to support me in this new role."

Prior to joining Parkinson in 2006, Galanis worked as Quality Manager at Capstan Atlantic in Wrentham, Mass. Before that he was Director of Quality at Temptronic Corporation and Purchasing Manager at Dynisco, Inc. He holds an MBA from Northeastern University.
