USA

Press release date: August 31, 2012

Ravenna, OH - Parker Hannifin's Parflex Division offers High Temperature Food Tubing for the food and beverage industry in a Fluoropolymer or Thermoplastic design. Both types of tubing offer a variety of resins and sizes with a seamless tube that resists the collection of bacteria, preserves taste and is very easy to clean. Flouropolymer Tubing is FDA compliant and offers complete lot traceability from the resin to the finished product. Thermoplastic Tubing is available in FDA, NSF-51 and/or NSF-61 compliant materials.

High Temperature Food and Beverage Tubing (up to 500°F) is available in PTFE, FEP and PFA resins. Featuring a low coefficient of friction and anti-stick properties, all are non-wetting and non-leaching, making them ideal for a wide range of food and beverage applications. Tubing can be supplied with compatible fittings, formed or flared. High purity designs are also available. Sizes range from .030" O.D. up to 4" O.D. depending on material.

Lower Temperature Food and Beverage Tubing (up to 180°F) is available in Polypropylene, Polyethylene and Vinyl. This tubing is very flexible, non-oxidizing and is non-corrosive, making them a superior choice over aluminum when replacing stainless steel tubes with an economical alternative. Sizes range from 5/32" O.D. up to 2½" O.D. depending on material.

With annual sales exceeding $13 billion in fiscal year 2012, Parker Hannifin is the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets.
