Press release date: December 1, 2010

NEW BRITAIN, CT/December 1, 2010 - Parker Fluid Control Division, manufacturer of the Skinner(TM) and Gold Ring(TM) lines of solenoid valves and the Sinclair Collins® line of process control valves, has released a new catalog for the Sinclair Collins K Series Process Control Valves - one of its most popular process control valves. The long-selling valve line offers durable, long-lasting construction in reduced- and full-flow models.

The Process Control Valve's rugged design and reliability make it ideally suited for the control of steam, gas, liquids or chemicals. It can withstand extreme temperature ranges (-40ºF to 450ºF), and, when used with an extended bonnet, can perform in cryogenic applications or high-temperature ranges.

The catalog lists specifications and dimensions for bronze and stainless steel body versions of the valve. Assorted options including flanges and extended bonnet as well as accessories such as a positioner are also highlighted. A unique feature of the catalog is a section that offers tips on proper valve sizing and selection as well as flow tables to aid in the selection process.

Prior to shipment, every Sinclair Collins valve is fully tested to meet the quality standards expected from Parker Hannifin, which has been designing and manufacturing process control valves for over 65 years.
