Papers Invited for ASTM International Symposium on Durability of Building Construction Sealants and Adhesives



W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., -Papers are invited for the Fourth Symposium on Durability of Building and Construction Sealants and Adhesives, which will be held June 16-17, 2011, at the Marriott Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif. Sponsored by ASTM International Committee C24 on Building Seals and Sealants, the symposium will be held in conjunction with the June 12-14 standards development meetings of the committee.

The objective of this symposium is to gather and disseminate the latest information on all aspects of durability testing, assessment and specifications for building and construction sealants and adhesives. The symposium will be of interest to architects, consultants, sealant and adhesive manufacturers, applicators, manufacturers of weathering devices, building owners, maintenance engineers, and all others concerned with durability of sealants and adhesives used in building and construction. The scope of the symposium covers all building envelope, interior building, construction and civil engineering applications.

Interested presenters must submit a 250-300 word abstract online at www.astm.org/C24symp611.htm by Aug. 15, 2010. The symposium chair will notify you by Oct. 15, 2010, of your paper's acceptability for presentation. Symposium presenters are required to submit their papers to the Journal of ASTM International (JAI). JAI is an online, peer-reviewed journal for the international scientific and engineering community (www.astm.org/JAI).
