Bulgin's successful IP68 Waterproof Ethernet Buccaneer family has been extended with four new panel mount versions. Using the industry standard shielded RJ45 interface, these connectors are now available with PCB and IDC termination.
The PX0839/PC has straight PC pins designed for vertically mounting the PCB flush up against the rear of the connector.
The PX0839/90 has 90° pins, enclosed in a screening can, to mount PCB's horizontally.
The PX0839/IDC has IDC terminations. Designed for 'field termination', insulation displacement termination provides a quick, reliable, proven technology for data terminations using a simple assembly tool.
These three connectors are single hole fixing, rear-of panel mounting. This allows the connectors to be soldered to the PCB and, if necessary, tested as a complete assembly before fitting to the panel. This will suit higher volume applications where speed of construction without additional cabling is essential.
The forth connector, PX0870, is a square flange mounted Ethernet connector offering secure four hole screw fixing, with standard RJ45 connections to the front and rear of the panel.
These new versions mate with all Bulgin's existing Ethernet Buccaneer cable connectors (PX0834, PX0836, PX0837 and PX0838) maintaining the Cat5e system performance and IP68 sealing integrity throughout.
