In 2010, Company More than Tripled its Customer Base of Fortune 500 Customers and Quadrupled its Healthcare Market Revenue

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb. 9, 2011 - PacketMotion(TM), the leading provider of User Activity Management (UAM) solutions, today announced that it achieved record revenue growth in 2010, posting a 115 percent increase in revenue over 2009. In 2010 PacketMotion more than tripled its customer base of Fortune 500 customers, and achieved record revenue in the healthcare vertical market, with 2010 revenue quadrupling company healthcare revenue in 2009.

In 2010, PacketMotion also released new innovations for the industry's leading UAM solution, PacketSentry(TM) 4.0. New in PacketSentry 4.0 was SourceSync for Microsoft SQL Server databases and Unix/Linux systems, extending UAM capabilities over the encrypted activities of privileged administrators without invasive software agents. This provides improved security and compliance without any measurable impact on network performance. In 2010 the company also delivered new virtual segmentation capabilities that scale to F500 enterprises to segregate in-scope Payment Card Industry (PCI) assets and intellectual property assets from unauthorized users without having to deploy expensive and complex firewalls.

Last year, the company also expanded its HIPAA/HITECH Act reporting capabilities, delivering a comprehensive solution for HIPAA compliance that spans all major databases and platforms, including legacy applications that lack proper audit controls. This capability, together with the fact that the solution installs in a matter of days and without the risk and performance impact of agents or in-line appliances, led to the company's steep adoption in healthcare in 2010.

PacketMotion's record-setting product will be on display next week at the RSA 2011 Conference in San Francisco in PacketMotion's Booth No. 450.

"2010 was a record year for PacketMotion, as more organizations across all vertical markets addressed their needs for visibility, control and continuous transaction capture in their data centers," said Paul Smith, PacketMotion Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Clearly being able to more than double revenues, triple our F500 customer count, and increase healthcare revenues by 4x validates the differentiated product we are delivering that addresses organizations' internal activity management like no other solution. 2011 started off with PacketMotion winning Red Herring's Global 100 Award, which is the start of what we expect to be the biggest year in the company's history."

PacketMotion delivers the industry's leading UAM solution, PacketSentry, which is designed for unified data center security and audit in traditional, virtual and cloud environments - monitoring, controlling and logging all network activity. Its unique architecture with no agents or in-line appliances reduces both deployment effort and risk to production systems. With PacketSentry, organizations have a single solution for efficient internal compliance and audit controls, and real-time policy enforcement to best protect the internal network.

About PacketMotion

PacketMotion's User Activity Management (UAM) solution provides unified data center security and audit in traditional, virtual and cloud environments. PacketMotion's solution enables mid- to large-sized enterprises to simplify and lower the cost of meeting their compliance and audit requirements (PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, etc.) while delivering security functionality such as the ability to immediately stop user behavior that violates internal policies. PacketMotion combines patent-pending software with powerful appliances to monitor individual user activity at the application level. The PacketSentry appliance operates out of band with no impact on network performance, and installs in less than one day, typically reducing compliance-related capital and operating costs by as much as 80 percent compared to a suite of siloed tools.
