Toledo, Ohio- March 6, 2006- Technology Group International (TGI), a leading ERP software solution provider, today announced that Pacific Steel & Supply has selected Enterprise 21 ERP software as the replacement package for its existing legacy systems.
As the largest independent nail distributor on the west coast, Pacific Steel & Supply required a fully integrated solution to manage its wholesale distribution business. Mike O'Conner, president of Pacific Steel & Supply, viewed Enterprise 21 as the optimal solution for their enterprise due the software's exception functionality for wholesale distributors.
O'Conner hired an outside consulting firm to assist in the software selection process by creating request for proposals and narrowing the available software vendors based on the company's functionality requirements. The search was then narrowed further by onsite demonstrations, reference calls, and supplier visits.
O'Connor listed the competitive advantages of TGI's ERP software by stating their decision to select Enterprise 21 was based on the following criteria:
