Saint Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota, March 7, 2011) - PaR Systems, Inc. today announced that it has received a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. PaR Systems maintained a Gold composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2010.
This year, Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. PaR Systems is one of only 141 suppliers to receive the Gold level of recognition.
"It means a lot to our employees to receive recognition like this, particularly from a company like Boeing. As part of our continuous improvement efforts, I look forward to PaR maintaining its gold level status at Boeing," stated Brian Behm, President, Robotics Group.
PaR Systems has been working with Boeing since 1984, supplying advanced engineered automated equipment and systems solutions, including motion machines for Boeing's ultrasonic inspection systems, precision drilling machines for F/A-18E/F inner wings, and high pressure abrasive waterjet cutting systems for the 787 and 747-8. PaR has provided equipment, either direct to Boeing or to its suppliers, for virtually all of Boeing's commercial aircraft, and remains committed to supporting Boeing's commercial and defense programs. PaR's equipment and systems support various processes; ultrasonic inspection of composite components, waterjet cutting metallic and composite parts, and precision trimming and drilling of large aero structures ranging from F/A-18E/F wings to 787 barrel sections.
