Saint Paul/Minneapolis, MN (April 7, 2011) - PaR Systems, Inc. announces the appointment of E. Preston Rahe, Jr. as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Rahe's career spans 45 years of executive experience in the energy, environmental, and nuclear industries. In 2008, he retired as President of URS Corporation's Energy and Environment business unit, managing over $4 billion and 17,000 people in a global engineering, construction, and operations enterprise.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Rahe served as executive vice president of strategic development for Energy & Environment, and held a wide range of management responsibilities in the global commercial and government nuclear industry, such as overseeing safety analysis, research and development, and licensing of more than 100 nuclear power plants. In addition, he served as vice president and general manager of engineering and construction for Westinghouse Savannah River Co., the former managing/operating contractor for the Savannah River Site.

Mr. Rahe has broad experience in profitably growing technology-based businesses, and in 1997, founded URS's Safety Management Solutions firm. He serves as Chairman of the Board for URS's subsidiary, U.K. Nuclear Waste Management, Ltd., as well as served on the boards of a number of companies. Mr. Rahe holds Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Nuclear Engineering degrees from Georgia Tech.

Mr. Rahe joins a highly esteemed team of board members, which includes H. Lawrence Garrett, who served as the Secretary of the Navy under President George H. W. Bush, Charles Chadwell, who currently serves as Chairman of the Board and is the former Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Engine Operations for GE Aircraft Engines, as well as Stephen Tritch who served as President and CEO and later Chairman of the Board of Westinghouse Electric Company. PaR is delighted with the addition of Mr. Rahe to their Board of Directors as it celebrates its 50 year anniversary in 2011.
