A wide range of seats, seals, gaskets, washers, and related parts that can be fabricated to customer specification from PTFE, PFA, and TFM are being introduced by Interstate Specialty Products of Sutton, Massachusetts.
Interstate PTFE Components are engineered from various formulations of PTFE, PFA, and TFM to achieve specific performance characteristics with respect to lubricity, wear-, heat-, and chemical resistance. Machined, die-cut, or stamped to match OEM design requirements, typical components include bearings, bushings, gaskets, seats, seals, spacers, and washers.
Chemically inert and unaffected by most corrosive fluids, Interstate PTFE Components are suitable for operation from -400°F to 500°F and can be filled with glass fiber, carbon, or graphite. Capable of conforming to rough sealing surfaces, PTFE components are ideal for use in compressors, instru-ments, pipelines, pumps, and valves requiring slipperiness and durability.
Interstate PTFE Components are priced according to part construction and quantity. Representative samples and price quotations are typically provided within 24-hours.
