PMMI Promotes Two New Vice Presidents

Arlington, Va.; - PMMI is pleased to announce the promotion of two staff members to vice president positions.

Katie Bergmann was promoted to vice president of administration; Maria Ferrante has moved up from senior director of training & development to the vice president of education & workforce development.

"PMMI's emphasis on education has been growing exponentially, as have our infrastructure needs. As our attention on these areas continues to increase, we clearly needed to dedicate senior staff to them. Katie and Maria have proven their capabilities repeatedly. We're excited to see them step up to the plate to move these essential goals forward," said Charles D. Yuska, president and CEO, PMMI.

Bergmann came to PMMI in 2007 and most recently served as PMMI's director of administration, an expansion of her former role of human resources director. In her new position, Bergmann oversees and coordinates administrative duties for PMMI's Arlington, Va., headquarters, and manages all human resource functions.

Ferrante came to PMMI in 1999 as director of technical services, and helped launch PMT magazine, where she served as the editorial director. Her role in PMMI's education programs has grown since that time, and in 2009 Ferrante was named senior director of training and development. In her new role, Ferrante will focus entirely on the development of PMMI's education and workforce development programs, including PMMI's Certified Trainer program and PMMI U's new online learning options.
