PIAB, a global leader in industrial vacuum technology, will be exhibiting its innovative vacuum solutions for the packaging and processing industries in Stand 5716 at Total Processing & Packaging 2007, held in Birmingham, UK from 15-18 May. The company's objective at the show will be helping industry professionals increase productivity utilizing the latest in vacuum technology.
Automation specialization is offered by PIAB, assessing bottlenecks in production and delivering cost-effective solutions that address challenges like improved flexibility, speed and energy efficiency. Demonstrating quick and easy changeover to reduce downtime, the company will display the VGS(TM) 3010 (Vacuum Gripper System), designed to increase material handling reliability at higher speeds during a variety of packaging applications such as carton erecting and palletizing. PIAB's new Plastic Bag Handling Solution will also be exhibited to address packaging applications in the food, pharmaceutical, personal care and medical industries.
PIAB utilizes COAX® in many of its original products and solutions like the VGS(TM) 3010 and Plastic Bag Handling Solution. COAX® technology offers a smaller, more efficient and highly flexible technology that allows for the design of a modular system, and is easily integrated into the body of manufacturing machinery with multistage cartridges. Vacuum integration with the COAX® Probe is ideal as a replacement for pumps and bodies in applications where there is restricted space. Designing a fully decentralized solution with the latest in vacuum technology allows for fast, reliable response with less consumed energy.
In addition, PIAB will be exhibiting its Vactivator vacuum-handling cylinder, featuring automatic stroke control for a low-energy option ideal for fast and accurate control. PIAB's complete line of C Series hygienic vacuum conveyors for powder and bulk applications, and IC Series of industrial vacuum conveyors, will also be on display.
