(Orange, Mass.) -- PFE Rolls, Inc., founded in 1984 as a manufacturer of distinctive precision rollers, is celebrating its 25th year in business. According to PFE general manager Mike Hebert, the company has seen continual growth over this time meeting the needs of some diversified industries. "PFE has produced some of the largest rolls used today in the manufacture of paper and plastic film; and converting industries ... we've made unique rolls and equipment for several different industries ... even extra rugged rolls used in cereal flaking and heavy duty calendering," says Hebert. "If it's a distinctive roll with challenging parameters, we can make it."
The company, formerly known as KRH Rolls and previously a division of Perma-Flex Roller Technology, specializes in engineering and manufacturing rolls used in the paper, plastic film, chemical, converting, and food processing industries. PFE Rolls also produces custom AccuNip(TM) machinery used in web applications ranging from laminating, calendering, thermal bonding and cooling to web pulling and holding.
